Our Facility

Established in 1983, Tavares Pediatric Center is Rhode Island's only Pediatric skilled nursing facility.  We provide extensive medical services to medically complex and fragile children, adolescents and young adults.  The center is conveniently located two blocks from Hasbro Children's Hospital , Rhode Island Hospital and Women's and Infants Hospital.    The Tavares Pediatric Center serves residents 24 hours a day/365 days a year from Birth to Adult.
